    just curious, why extended? I personally don't see the point as it slows down turn in and decreases handling. Never been a big fan unless the bike is being drag raced. JMO. But, to each his own.

    VERY COOL! I wondered why no one ever built a REAL custom VFR. A big tire would look great also, as well as lowered. I know how it impacts handling, but it just looks GREAT! STOCK SUCKS!

    I'd be concerned about strength. You've moved the angle of moment and the suspension will need to be stiffened up a great deal to accommodate for that. It also increases the unsprung weight and the kinetic energy that will be generated at the end of that longer lever is going to require a greater cross section than the original swingarm casting. It will also increase the torsional load on the arm.
    But, it's your bike, do what you want to it.
    Stock sucks, but engineering makes for cool modifications.
