Can people post links to good online stores that carry good VFR parts and accessories? Please post what the shop's specialty is along with the link. I much prefer getting people's opinions on things like this to going out and randomly surfing around.

    Cheers,
    -Jon

Peoples opinions will be just that, opinions. As such, they are based on the persons experiences with online retailers. As for VFR parts, what year will the parts be going on and what parts might you be looking for? For OEM parts, I use bikebandit.com. Some use ronayers.com and servicehonda.com. For aftermarket, there is a slew of retailers; bikebandit.com, denniskirk.com, ronayers.com, exoticsportbike.com, etc, etc. If you can let us know whar you are searching for and for what year VFR, we can help narrow it down. :thumb:

I just bought a brand new '06 VFR. This is my first real bike (starter bike was a 250 ninja,) so I don't know everything I want to do to it. Right now I know that I want to put frame sliders on it, a tank bra, upgrade the headlights, and maybe relace the seat. Thanks for the reply!

I've made almost all of my 2 VFR's and RC-51 purchases from here:

    http://store.azmusa.com/honvfrspec.html

The additional 10% discount (vfrdiscussion.com member discount or VFR Mailing list member discount) plus no tax really adds up. I've had only pleasant experiences in dealing with them.

Ron Ayers, hands down cheapest and still very fast and nice. Brian (the guy with the thick southern accent) is very knowledgeable and helpful, finding parts I needed that weren't even on the internet site!

Also, sporttour has been great, got my Remus exhaust coming soon from them, and my throttlemeisters, and helibars are on their way right now.

I also have to give a nod to www.supersquidracing.com as they were very cool about getting me my Pazzo levers, and went out of their way when they weren't in stock. They don't carry a ton for our bike, but what they have, I'd BUY!

    exoticsportbike gets rave reviews, too.

Anyway, Ron Ayers beat all the ones I could find by a large margin, when it comes to factory parts, and aftermarket on the stuff they sell. I think I saved 1250 bucks in O.E. parts compared with dealership and retail pricing, on my quest to repair my 06.

I have had good luck with aftermarket stuff from MAWonline.com, solomotoparts.com, chaparral-racing.com and the already mentioned Rider Warehouse. I've called on dennis kirk a few times and seem to have bad luck getting customer service people that know anything about a product outside of what I already read in the description....might just be bad luck on who answers the phone.
