whare to put crash bobins help please vfr 750

    hi peeps were can i put crash bobbins on my vfr 750 1990 ,got the bobins but all the screw holes are just on the fairing and not in the frame HELP PEEPS PLEASE. dont know how to mount them cheers

    I've learned a new term today, "crash bobbins", those are what I believe we Yank's call frame sliders.

    This was a good thread about an install trick for mounting sliders:

    While it isn't specific to a 1990 I believe you may be able to apply this to yours....also try doing a forum search on frame sliders.

    If yours is like my 86 you may be able to mount them to the stays that go to the frame and hold the lower cowls in place. I've not seen it done, but I would like to put some on mine...

    ill check that and let ya know but most screws in mine dont screw into frame at all just into clips.looks like im going to have to have extensions made up for them to fit:mad:
