Rain and even snow last night, the weather was playing evil tricks today too. It would turn nice for maybe 2.5 hours then with no warning turn nasty and rain, , I can't even get a good day to get my tires changed. Its lucky I have a car. I heard of a funny story today-the bar keep told me someone bought a Brand new Chromed up Harley and WENT FOR A Ride today and got covered in mud and salt-Kind of cheered me up a little. I have thrown up my hands and wonder what gives with this shit. We had maybe a few days out of the last three months when it when nice out. Maybe I would on the installing ZG Touring wind screen-but I am waiting to get the new tires on first-because I am worried the tire guy might break it. I guess the bike has become a garage Queen.:painkiller::doh::yuck::pout:

I feel ya man. The shop had a group ride planned. Then we had a frontal boundary stall out and sit out west all last night. It blew through this morning with rain, high winds and the threat of twisters. We had to call off the ride. We have had the last three months scheduled group rides called on account of weather. I am so bored I am detailing my bike!

Aggh - the weather is not much better over in the Alps! :grumpy: More snow overnight and its been sleet or snow all morning - which normally would be good - but the ski lifts have just shut for the season - so I can't even enjoy the fresh powder - and man it is cold!

Suffice to say my bikes have been in and out of the garage since the end of March and are once again back indoors. If the forecast is correct, they will be tucked away for at least the next week - as we have a week of biblical rain threatened. At least that should finally clear the salt from the roads. Sadly over the winter, the snowploughs have really trashed many of the local roads, ripping great chunks out of the surface and leaving plenty of deep grooves which are rapidly turning to endless potholes. So when the snow finally does quit and sunny weather arrives, it looks like the roads will be plagued with road repairs for months!
