okay guys, incase you haven't noticed in all the cycle magazines there seems to be a new emphasis on V4 engines, aside from the obvious crossrunner, but many of the new platforms and prototypes are V4 configurations. i think all of us who appreciate the VFR and all its generations have been ahead of the curve since it seems this honda has gotten a new interest among the great unwashed. even the classifieds show less available used models in the last 9 months than before. This bike seems to be not just vintage but very contemporary since anything close is a knockoff of what we already have been riding for years. i dumped my BMW F800 for the interceptor and never looked back. The interceptor allows me to ride further into my skill level than other newer bikes in this class even the 2011 gixxer 750 has a puny low range compared to our Viffers. so celebrate, you are all smarter than you think in choosing this thoroughly "modern" machine!
