I'd guess a liter bike or one of those busa/zx-14 types... I don't think even supercharged VFR would go that fast. Funny thing though is I kept reading the artcle wanting to see the type of bike. I guess the general public doesn't care...motorcycle=motorcycle.

Maybe it was a harley. ;)

Was it Chicky or Randy using one of his nom de plumes? Could have been at least 20 other dudes here with VFRs that are nearly as fast as my mach 1 91.

Anyway, it wasn't me. My bike is that fast but I'm not.

Everything on my bike is stock so I didn't do it. Besides, NY is a looong way from NC.... well I take that back @ 193mph it should only take about 5 hrs to get there.

I believe that some of these modern day bikes might be able to hit that speed, but in the rain??? I don't know. I've ridden in the rain not going nearly that fast and your traction goes away very quickly.

Maybe kind of like the dope busts we read about. "Federal narcotics agents arrest 95 year old great grandmother for a marijuana plant in her back yard with a street value of $85,000.00.
