possible misunderstanding or bad contact info??

a long time VFRW member appears to know the manufacturer personally. I've heard nothing but good things thus far.

I'd link the thread but there's no sense in turning that thread into a bashing thread until this is sorted out.

I completely understand your frustration. These days we expect a retailer to be able to answer inquiries the same day and ship within two.

    I agree with tink

Best not to get too excited yet (easily said I know), but its an awful feeling (and super annoying) when you have not recieved any word after handing over coin.

Even worse is when you recieve the wrong item and they don't respond.

Hopefully it will be sorted soon.. Good luck :)

They took awhile to get mine to me. Did respond to an email I sent, something about redoing powdercoating... Probably just a little slow in production.

Actually as I recall - said member was at the shop or chatting with the owner just a day or so ago! Patience is key. It'll get sorted :)

    Hi Bad VFR,

if it all goes bad, just dispute the charge when your credit card bill arrives. Job done.

    Cheers

weird, there have been at least what a dozen, myself included, or so of us that have dealt with them, and no problems? Sure you have good contact info?
I get the impression this might be a one man gig too, problem with that sometimes is when something else comes up there is no one there to respond. We all get sick from time to time, death in the family, etc.

BB, I am very disappointed that you feel you had to deal with your issues in this manner. Other members have had small hiccups with orders, etc., and they asked questions on the initial thread where I informed everyone about the VBs. I have helped out in every way that I can. I know you have seen that thread and you know that I'm the one that recommended them because you have posted sarcastic remarks on it. Do you have an issue talking to women or do you just prefer to spew negativity wherever you go?

To provide some insight into what you and others have noticed... that the people of Vibranator can be slow to respond sometimes... they ARE a small shop. One guy who invents and tests the products, as well as takes orders, make the parts, processes them, ships them out AND takes calls and answers emails. One person running the financial and marketing end. Two other people assisting with some of the machining and running the CNC machines. Don, the "inventor" is often at the shop until 10pm or later running the CNC machines himself to catch up on production. They also have another company called Ricorshocks, that takes up alot of time on the CNC machines as well, and backs up Vibranator production. If you go to RICOR SHOCKS Racing Shocks that's him. Also, lookup Edelbrock Shocks and you will see a "seal" on their site that says something like "Ricor inside". It's a small shop, and they have a LOT to do. There are other factors that further complicate the business and the lack of people there to do all of the work, but there is no need for me to go into that. I'm just telling you all of this so you understand this is a super intelligent guy with a brilliant idea just trying to make things work. His only goal is to make riding motorcycles better and more comfortable for us... he is not rich nor does he have intentions of becoming rich. His only goal is to some day reach a point where he can leave the shop for a few months and do some adventure rides... and he's 56 and that hasn't happened yet.

He is a reasonable person to deal with and I'm sure if you contacted him with a reasonable request, he will respond. However, if your communication to him was anything like all of the communication I've seen from you on this site, he may have just decided he had better things to do than deal with your negativity and anger. If you had politely let me know you were having issues with your order by posting on the initial thread (or via PM), as others have done, I would have gladly helped you. However, and I really don't like being this way, based on all of my previous interactions with you, and the way that you've handled yourself in this situation, I'd rather not put the energy into helping you out. His shop is right down the street from where I work, and I can easily go there and talk to him anytime. I would recommend following what another member said. If you don't get a response, and you get no Vibranators, then just dispute the charge when it shows on your credit card. But, if you DO get VBs, pay the charge for Christ sake.

    Respectfully,
    Karen

PS-Just skimmed your initial post again and realized you said the phone was disconnected so I called the number that is on their webiste. It is not a disconnected number at all... you get to Vibranator. Please make sure all your ducks are in a row and you have the facts straight before you go spewing bullshit.

Yeah well CHickie, when are they going to do my windows?

Some people just think that everyone should drop everything they are doing and attend to their specific needs. I have a bunch of those tools working for me. I love call display..

One of these days I will be getting me a set of those too. But I have a set of HID lights that have been on my bench for two months now waiting to get installed.

Really a hundred for steel handlebar weights. I can't believe that any Honda v4 vibrates enough to make any difference. Good luck at getting your money back.

If you think you need weight there then put a bolt cut off that fits tight enough with a bit of duct tape.

First up vfrchick, I never asked for your help and what I done was warn people, I can not recall myself bagging Vibranator on another thread. What I will not tolerate is bad costomer service. I sent Don 3 emails in one week with out a reply, it was only when I blasted him and put this thread up did he respond, do you call that good service vfrchick. You can have the best product on the planet but if you have SHIT customer service your product is not worth the metal it is made out of. Tell Don for me to contact Mike at Galaxy ATV he will be able to teach Don some good customer service skills and buy the way tell the tight ass to employ a secratery might improve his bottom line. Thanks to all you other members that came up with some concrete advice and not imature excuses. Ever heard the saying 1 bad customer tells a 100 good ones.

It appears Karen (VFRchick) has confused Bad VFR with Bad Billy, hence that bit about sarcastic remarks made on other threads. So between one person believing they have been ignored, and another confusing that person with another, we have a giant clusterfuck.

    The interwebz is awesome......

Since I have no dogs in this fight, hope everyone gets the parts theyre looking for, and everyone else has a wonderful day.

    Or something to that effect.

Im sorry this didnt work out a bit better Bad VFR, it would have never occurred to me that you might be mistaken for someone else.

    Everybody kiss and make up......

    or not

    whatever.

Dont feel too Bad VFR, I've been trying for 3 weeks to get the building inspector to answer an email or a phone call asking the department to send someone, anyone, over here and finalize the inspection on my current project, and my tax dollars dont seem to be working. I have no doubt theyre very busy..........sigh.

Side note to Karen: please pay close attention to user names before unleashing the ass ripping machine . :joker:

Thanks guys for catching my error. After I sent my reply I went out so when I saw "BV"s (NOT BB's) reply come in on my phone I could not reply fast enough. It is totally my turn to eat shit and apologize to you Bad VFR. Yes, I thought you were Bad Billy. He is the only one I know whose name starts with "Bad" and whenever I see it, I just barely skim the message. He is very sarcastic, negative and non-productive, although once in a while I DO find a bit of humor in his posts. So, when I saw the "Bad" in your name I looked no further, barely skimmed the message and replied accordingly.

On top of that, it's just been a pretty shitty week and I really didn't have a ton of energy but felt I had to put Bad Billy in his place. Yeah, I know... I'm eating my own words to make sure I've got the details straight before spewing bullshit... trust me. Anyway, I hope you can accept my apology and we can move on. Now that I know there are two B-a-d names, I will look closer before responding.

Well shit! I have been called many things but never an Australian. I may never recover after being put in that place. Eeeek, is that a witchity grub on the barbie or the old question about how many Combat Wombats can dance on the head of a duck pin?

Here's the deal toots, When promoting someone else's business and not knowing that much about what is really going on, ain't real smart. If you have a vested interest just say so. If not, cut the BS and the sales pitches that are two for a quarter anyplace on the net.

What I really want to know is how this lawyer chum you have stashed get's a speeding ticket reduced to a parking ticket. That is info that would be really valuable.
