Anyone know a company that does a rear hugger for a 1993 CB1000 or failing this where could I get one made? I think a few of your members have CB1000's Any help appriciated Cheers
you can try poly26.com, they make a lot of fairing parts for older cb/r and vfrs. but they are an overseas company. never ordered from them though. thier site is in french i think, but if you click the england flag at the top corner the site goes into english on some pages. or you can get adventurous and make your own. use some 1/2 inch mdf, your rear tire, and subframe to get the general shape of the hugger template, and use some fiberglass to make the plug...blah, blah, blah....tons of site that go into detail about how to achieve this. its not really a hard process. just gotta be patient.
Thurnmotorsports (germany) LINK has huggers and such for VFR's and CB1000's I believe. Check them out. I bought an aluminum chainguard from them...took a month to get it, but I like it a lot. By the way, isn't there a CB forum that you could try? Just wondering if they might have more info on their site for your bike. Good luck!
Thanks guys i'll try your links. I'm in CB1000 clubs over here but cant find anyone who does them, thought you guys would have greater contacts.
