Want to borrow Compression Tester in Ottawa, ON

Is there anyone in or around Ottawa, ON who can loan me a compression tester (with 10mm fitting) for a bit? I've got a '91 that is suddenly idling on three cylinders.

Also willing to accept suggestions for other ways to beg, borrow, or get the use of a tester.

 

try local auto parts store, here in the states auto zone for example will loan for small deposit that you get back once you return it.

 

Good suggestion. We did just get our first Autozone here in Ottawa. They only loan a tester with 14mm and 18mm threads. If anyone knows where I can borrow one with 10mm threads for or vfr I'm all ears. I haven't been able to find one yet.

 

I'm in Kemptville and I have a tester. Let me check to see if it is 10mm or not and I will get back to you.
