If you are looking to do the Super Hawk fork swap or SH lowers on VFR800 upper tubes, I am selling the brackets to do it with. (Click links below for reference)
This assumes you are using the 5th gen triples and fender.

Just recieved a new batch. PM if interested.

hey Mello, long time no speak. These look great and a shame to hide them away! Unless you would care to ship to the UK could you tell me if there is any reason as to why the Super Hawk/Firestorm fender won't fit?
    Cheers

I did a DIY job of making my own brackets out of some alloy bar stock, a hacksaw, file, drill and tap. There's a few hours of work involved, but quite satisfying for all that. Not as pretty as CNC milled pieces, but very cheap! You could also get the same result just from bending up some brackets from thinner material.

Inspired by Cadbury, I went cheaper, lighter and even more dodgy. But it does the job.
The VFR fork spacing is bigger than the VTR, so you can't use the VTR guard.

    Hi Mello,

I checked some of your other threads, but couldn't find the current price of your Gen 5/VTR brackets. I'm considering a VTR conversion for my gen 5, and I'd like to find out what a set of your adaptors cost. Also, do you have any in stock or are you expecting to?

    Thanks

    Hi Mello -

I've really enjoyed learning from your meticulous approach to your VFR-SS. Thanks for documenting your projects so thoroughly. I tried to PM you, but your inbox is full.

I"m considering doing a VTR fork swap on my gen 5. Your fender brackets would be an important component. I checked your other threads but couldn't find a price - what is the going price for a set of your VTR brackets?

    Thanks

Thanks for getting back to me. I'm bummed - your adapters had a special combination of tidy and sturdy.

Well, if you don't have a last extra set lying around, is there any way you might share the CAD file, and I could find a local CNC shop to replicate?

I'm not too versed in CAD/CNC, but there are an awful lot of machining resources here in San Diego County.

Well gang -- So I found another machinist who quoted a somewhat reasonable $ for these brackets ..... So if I go for this any takers? Would you like gold anodized for a bit of extra coin? (I hate to let anybody down...:lemo:)

New update - Ok gang I now have version 4 of this fender bracket ready from my new machinist.....
These make the stock 5th gen fender a drop in on VTR1000 lowers --- assuming that you are using 5th gen triples.
    - This is a straight forward way to delink- -- stock triples/stock bars - brakes.. use the matching F4i, RC51, 954/929 or SH calipers and master - stock wheel and rotor - stock wheel spacers. You will need to figure out custom brake lines.

Mello, your fender brackets keep getting better! Thanks for the set you recently sent to me, on time, and on budget.
