I was just wondering if anyone has looked into swapping the VTEC fuel injectors into the 5th Gen FI assembly ? From the pics on Ron Ayers, the VTEC's look larger/longer ? and the part nos. are quite different. The VTEC's have 12 holes vs. the 5G having 4 holes. TIA, Scott
Not even close, all the critical dimensions are waay off. I saw a graphic from Honda back in 2002 and it showed the injectors side by each with dimensions listed and they are 2 different birds. If you are game, you'd have to switch the entire throttle body assembly to go with the injectors.
