Hello fellow VFR riders. I have a problem here. I have a 1998 vfr and I'm trying to register it in California. The DMV said that they need to see 2 VIN number locations. My sticker on the side was partly scratched off and I know that the other one is near the forks in the front. Can you guys tell me where I could find a 3rd location for the VIN number? I can't find it. Thanks you very much!

I,m not 100% sure on yours, but on past bikes I've had you could find the vin on the frame as you already know, and on the front of the frame where the steering pivots, and they almost always put the vin somewhere on the motor also. Hope that helps, my bike is a bit newer than yours so I can't say that they would be in the same places.
