I just installed my new exhaust yesterday and there was no gasket between the collector box and link pipe. My new exhaust kit didn't come with one either so I figured thats how it is supposed to be. After getting it installed and starting it up there were no leaks to speak of. Hope that helps!

    Oh yeah. I have a 93 VFR750
