Hi Thanks for accepting me, I have a very nice 1996 VFR750 which was a very good friends pride and joy, I know this should be the only bike i ever need but unfortunately it is a real trail riding it any distance to the point that it gets neglected. Ive fitted some cnc bar risers but not much difference, My legs ,hips, feet seem to be the problem. Read alot and know I am not alone, I am about 5'9" quite fit ,getting on abit but nowhere near ready to call it a day . I have had a good search and just cant seem to find anyone in the UK who supplies such a Kit.The bike means alot sentimentally so any help very much appreciated. Cheers Simon
I don't have a direct answer for you, just some info that may be useful. On 1990 - 1997 VFRs, the width of the footpeg and bracket where they engage with each other is narrower than other Hondas. So if you find lowering pegs that says it fits VFRs and other Hondas, be very skeptical and confirm that dimension. But something may be modifiable to work by both narrowing the footpegs and widening the bracket mount area. I personally like to buy extra brackets when I start modifying parts in that manner, saving the original pieces. Good luck.
Thanks Captain 80's and sorry for late reply. Comments much appreciated. I have seen a modification using Buell pegs but not sure if will fit my 1996 VFR , I also contacted Knight designs but bit more than wanted to pay as unsure on shipping costs to the uk. Cheers Simon
