vfr700 vacuum canister questions

    The vacuum canister located in the front down by the left side, has 2 hoses connected to it but mine doesn't. It has the larger hose connected but the there's a smaller outlet that I don't have connected. Where does the small opening lead to?

    i dunno mine doesnt have one anymore. got it that way.
    i just routed the front tank vent to the carb vent, than plug every thing that was open.

    i think the smaall line goes to the tank if i remeber the awful diagram i found
