    Hi Everyone
This is my first VFR project. I've built CB160's from boxes and restored a 305 Scrambler and a SuperHawk, and a Baby Dream. I bought a pallet and a couple tubs of what was left of a wrecked VFR700 and wrecked VFR750. Lots of parts missing so I've only got what I believe is a 700 rear caliper. What makes me think this is the rotor is a little too large to fit within the caliper and allow the calipers axle hole alignment to line up with the axle. the diameter of the disk I have is about 276mm.
    Thanks
    Steve

Hmmm, same diameter as the front rotors, maybe I have a front rotor. Wouldn't think they'd have the same bolt pattern but I guess they do?

The VFR rear rotors are smaller than the front, but have the same bolt pattern. You can use a front for a rear, but you would need a VF1000F rear caliper bracket. If you have problems finding a good condition VFR rear rotor, any VF500F rotor will work, they are just not drilled.

Oh, and, great project. Lots of eBay stuff for those bikes to finish it up except decent, reasonably priced bodywork. I recently finished building an 86 VFR out of parts.
