Hi there fellow riders. Not sure how many out there agree with me but the standard horn on the VFR is close to pathetic ... while I'm not a horn blower, when I need to use the horn, I want motorists & trucks to hear it for sure, and not pas it off as some errant scooter! SO I bought a pair of snail horns from Harbor Freight, pulled some bodywork and found a few places to mount them unobtrusively. I used some old VFR800 brackets to attach them on existing frame mounts. The sound is good n loud, and they're hidden from view. Easy job, done in less than a day if you're handy with these things. Have more pics of brackets and fitting, wire routing if anyone wants to see more.
