Any VFR owners out there use their bike to double as a track day bike?

I am thinking of next year taking my VFR 6th Gen at least once to a track day (Tony's Track Days). I am curious how the bike performs on the track considering most other bikes are sport bikes weighing 50-100 lbs less. Of course with the heavier Viffer you going to have more wear on the tires and brakes. Any suggestions on mods are also appreciated!

Now I don't know hoe Tony's Track Days are run, but the only thing I recommend is make sure your tires are in good shape, read up on Keith Code's Twist of the Wrist and Lee Parks Total Control. Parks has a few suggestions for the first time track rider.

The VFR will do fine...if you let it!

Have fun, its not a race!
