I came across this a while back. This guy does some nice vlogging and this is one of my favorites that he has done.

Whenever I am feeling a bit over worked, down or whatever this video always cheers me up.

It also inspires me to take a week long VFR trip somewhere. Anywhere... thataway.

Thats O Billmaa. Him and Tracy do a lot of riding. I had a trance to meet them butone got sick during their trip last year. Sadly he made a vid stating that hes getting out of vlogging.

I would imagine that vlogging takes up a lot of time.

Nah, it's not me. Last night the link I threw up was to the video in favorites. That is why it probably looked like it was my video. The link above is the direct link to the Youtube video

    Sorry for the confusion.

Ok, looks like I am going for a week long trip with the missus for our anniversary. We are going late October to Robbinsville, NC which is about 20 minutes from Deals Gap. We are staying at the Two Wheel Inn.

I have been doing some long over due maintenance on the '98 Viffer.

Replaced chain and sprockets, went -1 on the front and I really like it. The bike definitely takes off a lot easier (especially 2up) and low speed riding is more manageable.
Installed a speedohealer and calibrated it with a GPS. Like it!
Flushed the coolant with distilled water and white vinegar. Replaced the distilled water + water wetter with Engine Ice. Temps are good!
I facked up installing my clutch slave cylinder. During the process of putting it back together (correctly this time, thank you forum!) I flushed out the old DOT 4. The clutch is buttery smooth now.
Replaced the brake fluid in the front. Looked at doing the back and was daunted by the procedure. I will take care of that this winter. The fronts definitely have more power and better feel. I would bet money that it had never been changed. The bike now has 27k on it. Bought it two years ago with 15k on it.
New rear tire. front still in good shape.
Replaced the headlight bulbs with H4 60/55w. Wow. The high beam is amazing. The low beam is much improved. Like it!
I had two dash lights burn out so I could not see the fuel/temp/odo/tripometer. Had to take the upper cowl off to get too it so I replaced them all while I was in there.
Since I had the upper cowl off I took the time to clean the upper portion of the fork tubes with WD-40 and #0000 steel wool.
Since I had all the fairings off I did some general cleaning into areas I normally can't reach.
Some of the fairing bolts were looking kinda crusty. I chucked them up in a hand drill and cleaned them up with WD-40 and #0000 steel wool. They look 100% better and it only took a few minutes to do.

I took the bike for a test run last night and she is running smooth. Like the dude in the video said, "I love this old thing."

    Cherohala here we come!
