I've noticed on some rides recently that my temperature never really gets up to normal temp. Weather conditions haven't been cold, if anything hotter than usual, and I could ride for 5 hours straight and be pulling into my driveway, and notice my temperature is still right around 1/3 on the gauge. It still does the normal temp raise up to 3/4 if I'm caught in traffic or street light to street light, but when I'm moving, drops right down to 1/4 - 1/3 again. It just seems abnormal, maybe a problem behind it. Anyone have any insight on this?

Nope, that's normal per my '86 750. Only time it ever gets up near the 3/4 mark is if it's REALLY hot out (like 110+) and I'm in slow or stopped traffic. Otherwise I am in the 1/4 - 1/3 area on the gauge all the time.

*Incidentally I run Prestone 50/50 without any extras*
