Kinda hard to say. Book price probably is in the 3K range. I am only guessing here, tho, as I haven't looked. You could look around other sites, traderonline, VFRWorld, even ebay and see what people are asking. Some things to keep in mind is the location your in as well as this one important point: No matter what you ask, it will only go for someone is willing to pay for it, so be prepared to possibly negotiate. These are not specialty vehicles, but have been part of a community of owners of Shelby Dodges (the numbered cars), that was a point that was continually driven home. Also, it might get a littel more in Canada. I have no clue about the market up there. If you are selling, good luck and Ihope you get what your asking price.
You asked for opinions... what you basically have is a 56,000 mile bike with a repaint and replaced engine. I'd say for this time of year $1000-$1400, maybe $1500-$2000 in the spring. That'd be my guess what it would get in my location, maybe there are fewer used bike choices where you live.
2ND that opinion... No matter what is said or has been done recently- It is still (for the most part) a bike with 56k on it. most parts except for engine swap are quite old now, some harder to find too. I'm a little concerned with anything (bikes or cages) when major alterations have been done, like engine swap. If it were my bike...I'd list it for $2500 and HOPE to get around $2000 after negotiating some with the prospective buyer. Add-ons and fresh paint can only account for so much $$$$ when your dealing with a transplant bike of this age. I would hope this isnt the senario : cause it never works out!!! -Bike seizes -sink alotta $$$$$ into a broke bike in hopes of recovering the $$$$ after these mods/ paint were done. all the best with your sale- Steve
