vfr nc30 running issues HELP

Hi there. cheers for reading. I hope anywone can help.
i need to get my bike running. its been sat for about a year now and it hurts every time i go in the garage and see it just sat there.
right i got the bike a while ago and it ran sweet as a nut, tax and mot then ran out and lack of funds meant kept it in the garage.
went to get back on it after a year and it wouldnt run right.
started up from cold on choke fine but revs randomly went up and down.
rode it and for a while it went like stink then it would slowly die like fuel starvation. try and start again and nothing. leave it for a bit and it will only start on choke but the engine is still hot. starts but you have to wait for the revs to build up, in to gear and try to pull away and revs sometimes die sometimes pick up.
seems to ride for a bit then always the same symptoms.
i know a bit about bikes and i know this sounds like a blocked jet or needle or somethin. i have taken the carbs off and blown them out with an airline fitted new plugs and changed the oil and filter. also has a new battery.
it only has a genuine 12000kms on the clock and it is a limited edition r3k model.hence why i want it back on the road.
