    Hello all,
I am sure this has been asked before but... does anyone know the excess wattage capacity of a 2002 VFR? Actually, my real question is will it operate the gerbring jacket liner and glove liner okay? The jacket liner uses 77 watts and the glove liner 27. I can get by with just the jacket liner for my ol bones hear in the NW if necessary. I see where Gerbing offers a thermostat to reduce the consumption but I am not sure if that is necessary.
Thank you in advance for any help or commentary
    Jerome

I do not know the numbers, but I have seen multiple devices in use at once. Usually heated grips and GPS, Radar detectors, a heated vest...

    Only slightly helpful.

I use the Gerbing jacket liner and gloves with my 2007 VFR.. I haven't had any problem, though I haven't done the math. I do have the thermostat, though not the dual control, but mostly because it easier to control the heat. I have the G3 gloves, and they are excellent. I put the thermostat in a small cell phone holder and clip it on my jacket so it is easy to access and change.

Well for one thing, if you drive without the high beams on, you have at least 100 watts available.
