    Well,
My VFR total rebuild has been completed (99%). Took some time, money and sweat but who knows, it might be worth it ;-) XD. I have more than 1500 pictures taken during the rebuild, however, I chose only some per bike section, otherwise this post would have many long pages... Repairs / upgrades / rebuilds are not in chronological order, because some jobs were done outside instead of in workshop.

Let me upload pictures first for each section of the bike and I will notify you when I am done, so you can start commenting. I would appreciate if you wait till everything is uploaded please...

    1. I delinked brakes using HEL kit. Bleeding those combines brakes was a pain, also I never liked CBS. Could not get out all the junk even after changing DOT4 few times.

I swapped 2 lines for 1 line and 1 short link for the rear caliper.

    2. Clocks - changed back plate from miles to kmh. I also soldered new micro switches, because old one were bad. Unfortunately speedo was off, average 14km/h, so I made up a speedo healer and fixed it myself using Arduino and some basic programming. LEDs were installed, and front panel sprayed.

Tip: those little square buttons have to be drilled to fit the new micro switches heads. I used hot glue to fill the gaps and make it steady.

Seals were in very bad state. I got all OEM seals and after market silicone hoses with SS clamps.

    6. Bought chinese fairings, but after 2 hours fight I set them on fire... Then I got those white fairings from www.owiewki.pl. Fiberglass , very strong fairings. I even crashed once at high speed and they really did the job... All you have to do it to spray them, fitment is perfect like OEMs.

    11. Fiberglass Harris hugger was supplied with quite low quality, weak plastic holders for brake hoses. I decided to make new ones using plastic printing. Job was done by a very good friend of mine, he does a lot of SolidWorks, very good guy to have on your side ;-)

The long bolt was extremely difficult to get out, tried heating, welding onto it, knocking, broke few tools etc... I strongly advice lubricating it before showing back into the hole XD

    13. Mirrors were sand blasted and sprayed. I decided to leave them as they are on the bike. Still thinking of getting mirrors with LEDs built in and blank off the old indicators... Don't know, have to think about it.
