Greetings VFR lovers. I wander if you can help me? It has to do with colours of VFR's available in Australia. For some reason you lucky people in the States and Canada get the White models and reasonably frequent too. But downunder in Aussie land their mainly red or blue, with a few yellow ones. The only white ones I've found were early models (eg. 1988).

I love the pearl white and like the new 2007 interceptor (pearl blue/white & red) combo. Don't think we'll get them here though?
I even saw that you had an all white 2006 model?

Look forward to hearing from you.

You likely could order the pearl white paint and have your local paint shop shoot your bike. ;-)

Hi Machedice. Welcome to the forum, good to have another Aussie on too.

AFAIK, the white was never offered in Australia, and is not being imported either.

Regarding the paint code for a 2006 in Pearl White, I'm sure that one of the US members will be kind enough to lift their seat, check the colour code for you and post it here.

(BTW I'm moving to Adelaide at the end of the year, might be able to say G'day some time)

    Will,

Have you been to Adelaide before, or is it you're first visit?

Hi Mach. My wife and I were over there at the end of '05. She has lived there before, but I haven't. We're looking at places to rent somewhere near Seaford area...

    Colours Downunder!

    Hey,

I don't blame you the Blue looks wild, and now you know how I feel, when I think of the white one's with white. . . So despite not wanting to have to repaint fairings I don't think there is any other choice.

So I checked a 2006/2007 Pearl Black one just the other day and despite saying I would never buy a black bike, it's pretty wild too and I can see myself adding some highlights to stand out more.

Do me a favour, sit on one and let me know what you think, specially about the back lights, viwed from near ground level.

    Cheers

    Will,

wait till you get here, you'll love it and the rides through the countryside too.

I can give you the name of some letting agents down that way, but it's a nice seaside suburb about 30-40min from town.

    Nozzle,

what made you pick this name?

When I first read you're reply, I thought I don't want to have to repaint, specially because I want a newer bike, but I think you're right, it might be the ony way to get the white.

What's your favourite colour or style?
