VFR Bar Ends

I was wondering if anyone know of a replacement bar end for the 86 VFR they are now discontinued from the dealer.

Or if anyone knows the thread size or makes an adapter please let me know.

 

I've seen aftermarket ones in every shape size and color. Also have seen some that incorporate a helmet lock. Or go to a breaker.

 

So have I for 1990 and newer which was after honda went to approx 6 mm studs on the end. The ones on my VFR are approx 16mm.

 

Change the bar inserts? Should still be the same bar O.D. & I.D., but I could be wrong...

Thanks I might take you up on that. koorbloh is sending me a trashed and beat set that I will probably hack up and make adapters for modern 6 mm bar ends. Other than that I ordered some expanding universal ones I am going to try out hopefully they will work.

 

haven't forgotten you, was waiting on someone else's address so I could make 1 trip to the fed-ex store.....

Sucks to hear they are not available any more. I didn't have any problems ordering one a year or more ago.

 

Well it looks like newer VFRS have some inserts that may fit but I am going to try to make adapters out of some factory ones.
