IMG_8750.jpeg Hi everybody, I’m doing a rebuild of the front forks, but I’m not sure about the order of the spacer seats. In the picture attached, which one should be on bottom of the spacer and which should be on top? Is it ok as shown (blue on the bottom, yellow on top)?

    For reference:
    - yellow IMG_8752.jpeg

    - blue IMG_8753.jpeg

The manual is not that clear, it calls both “seat spacer” and in the drawings they have no differences.

anyway it makes sense the way you said it, thanks

    I’ve got another question.
IMG_8757.jpeg The bolt on the right is the original one, which was stuck and I had to broke the hexagonal inner shape.

The bolt on the left is something I bought in a hardware shop.

Do you think could be good for the purpose, or should I buy the original one?

For context, we are talking about the number 45 in the scheme.

That's probably just fine. The only thing I would consider is the depth of the allen hole. If it is less than the original, there's even a bigger chance the next removal will also round out.

And it really makes no difference on the fork spacer washers. I think I usually find the dished one in the cap. You could use just all flat washers too. My OCD would compel me to be consistent tho.

On the screw, I think you could use a standard Socket Head Cap Screw. I am still unsure as to why the fork end bolt heads are so short. So far I have not seen a axle that was "that close" to the head to matter. But I have been wrong many times before. lol

Pretty sure I have used normal cap bolts with no issues. A Torx head would be pretty nice too

I would be more conserned what grade the bolt is...
Grade 8, 10 or 12 ... in reference to metric bolts. I would go at a Grade 10...
There is a difference in Grades of standard vs metric...
Are there markings on the OEM bolt?
