Hi there everybody Thought of starting a little project diary for myself. There might be a little self talking so be patient. The thought´s started when i was driving the bike for 150km a day to work and back. it absolutely needs to be upgraded to a little more modern by handling and aerodynamics.the engine will be next years project.

The first thing that i did was take the fairings of and started to cut some parts of the bike. the rear frame was cut completely of. the reason for this is that im tall and i need my ride height to be right. Started to design the rear frame and lifted the frame prox 5cm up the whole way.

After that i had to get fairings that match my eye. The rear fairing came from kawa z750 same thing with the seats and rear light. the rear footpeg holders had to be made all over to match the look. Front footpegs came from suzuki bandit 1200.

Then the engine came off and id change the camchain, tensioner, head gaskets and clutch. same time when the engine was off i thought of adding few metal pipes to make the frame a bit stronger to the up coming power increase.

then came the front end to topic, it definetly needed to be done something. i taked the front of the frame and started to look a front end that i could use. Few days later a friend of mine sayd he has got Tl1000r usd forks and triangles. This was perfect though the forks are a bit short for vf. But what a hell they needed modding anyway. Made few measurement from the front and made picture to machinist. The steering axle you can use from vf750f, you only have to fill the lower end and machine the pipe to right size to fit busa triangles. Then take the forks open, remove the topcap and measure the height you need it to be. get the extensions made for reasonable price. The front brakes came from bandit 1200 also with 320mm discs. the front wheel is from kawasaki zx-9r.

The front fairings come from ducati 1098 and they absolutely fit greatly around the front and tank. the only thing is that they don´t fit with the forks and triangles. so it needs a little work.

But what i neet help with is what swing arm you have used with your bikes, i know some kawasaki swing is with the right measures but i cant find it anywhere. Can anyone help a bit so i don´t have to invent the wheel again :) I´ll post pics some day next week off progress.

    Best regards Joachim
