VF750F 83, mufflers....how to open?

    Hi, excuse my english.
    I own a VF750F 83 with stock mufflers that are a lot noisy for spanish laws :crazy: I need to add them a lot of fibers. The question is: How can i do to "open" the mufflers? I removed the 4 rivets but....couldn't figure how to open them....

    I had to take a wood rod and put it in the small end and hammer the center part out. It sticks/wedges in the pipe. Look in the small end and you can see a perforated plate with a large hole. You have to go thru that hole to get to the silencer part of the muffler to pound it out.
