VF500f painted bodywork.

has anybody painted the bodywork on the vf500?
i ask cause i am about to start.
before you assume im ruining the factory look. i bought the bike with cracked front fairing and someone tried to paint the bike all white, without removing any of the stickers.
so i was just after some ideas.
and i will be hunting ebay for some factory fairings as well, cause i like the look of stock.

 

yeah painted my 86 all white...... just do a good prep job and it will turn out looking good

the bike really needs some sort of stripe pattern. looks kinda dumpy plain! go 80s!

 

if you look at my Avatar..... the bike is trashed now as far as the paint job goes... one low side and a trailer ride later its FUBARed again...not bad but rashed pretty good...
