Was shopping new sprocket/chain setup and noticed in the JT's catalog that the VF500 and CBR F have the same part # for the rear sprocket.

    Rear Sprocket #JTR1334.4x

    VF500

    Hurricane

Some of you may have already known this, but for me it was a light bulb moment...Vortex makes hard coat alloy sprockets to fit the 87-90 Hurricane which means they also make them for the VF500.

Is there a flaw in my logic?

I double checked this - the VF500F stock rear sprocket is a bolt and go onto the CBR600F Hurricane's cush drive - no modifications are needed.

I am not sure if this is a direct mount onto the CBR600F2 cush drive – perhaps an owner of an F2 wheel conversion can confirm this for you.
