I was wondering if anyone else had ridden any of the other 500's out there and how they compared to the interceptor. I had a 91 GS500 and I think the GS was faster but I'm sure. My VF feels sluggish. I ran a can of sea foam through it and it ran good while the seafoam was in there but went back to being sluggish once it was gone. I was thinking of going from a 15 to a 14 tooth sprocket to see if that helps.

I had a 1992 EX500. It was a twin and had good low end torque. However, I'd say that the VF500F has more motor overall.

Pretty much any 500 is going to be gutless. They are just a little motor after all! As mentioned, the 500 twins are going to have a little more low end but the 500's rev higher and have power across a broader range.
