VF500 F2 vs original

so what's the main differences? Is it just the fairing or is there a performance advantage to the F2.

I'm looking at buying an F2 as a spares bike and am wondering if there are any components I should swap over..

 

I believe it was simply aesthetics - fairings only. And the wheels I think were different, but same tire size.

 

I never realized there was a full fairinged model of the 500

 

I believe that the only difference are the full fairing and rims - both of which I really like. There was another thread going around not too long ago that was also trying to get to the differences, but they weren't fully answered. I like to know if there were any engine differences.

 

if you buy this parts bike would you be willing to sell the fairings?
