VF500: are these levers original?

    I'm considering changing these levers, is either one original?

    Nope.

    Edit: That clutch lever is original.

    Look for some VFR style that are adjustable. Anything up to 1997 will work.

    And make sure that little brass bushing is still round and not worn out. It makes a huge difference in clutch feel and is often overlooked.

    During my 750 build I am noticing some of the little details that make Honda awesome. Adjustable levers on an 88 whaaaa??!!

    Thanks for the suggestions Cap - adjustables might be a good way to keep Arthur from spoiling my rides.

    The 86 VFR and the 85 1000R came with them stock. I think the 85 1000R was one of the (if not THE) first models to have them in the US.

    The 500 did not have them, even on the revised 86 model.
