I'm going to have a go at converting my 86 VF500F2F to 17 inch wheels. I have read as much as I can find on this board and others and have concluded I will go the "Steve Scott" way using what the US call the CBR600F2 route front and rear. Over here the F2 is the FM, FN, FP and FR, (although I could be wrong). The CBR600F1 route is nice too ( I prefer the three spokes) but the F2 route offers me a rear caliper hanger route using a (confusingly) CBR600F1 rear caliper hanger. I haven't seen any postings with a picture of this attached to the bike. I'd be very grateful if someone has tried this for a picture. The 6 inch stay down to the swing arm is what I would like to see. I have a spares bike to try all this on. I'm doing it for the fun of it and to see what improvement it brings.
