vf400 and vf500 parts interchangeability

Hey

I'm looking at a vf400 in Canada, and the one thing I'm worried about is parts availability. I've heard that the vf500 is a grownup vf400. Is that true? Would that mean that most parts would be interchangeable?

not very many have tried i think the block might be the same and, a few body parts but overall you are probly on your own.
