I was curious if the vf1kr tank will go on the F model without issues and if the kerker slipons will go on as well. I just want the cans cause I love the sound... Not the full exhaust.

Not sure about the tank, but really don't see why not. The spacing for the bolts and how the air box is shaped underneath should be the same. May be forgetting about something though. The upper cowl won't have anything to hold the rear edge from flapping where it meets the tank.

As far as the slip-ons... no. If you're using the complete slip on, how the exhaust exits out of the collector chamber to the mufflers is different (the angle). More than it looks like. I tried adapting some 1000R Yosh slip-ons to my 1000F. I ended up just mounting the 1000R stock exhaust (you have to lose the center stand) to use the 1000R slip-ons. Where the mounts meet the footpegs is a little different, it ends up being a little further back... that's fine... nothing a small bracket didn't handle. Or have some custom pipes made to go from the collector to your cans, that way the mounts can be made to match.

That's pretty much what I wanted to do. I unfortunately have never seen the R in person and had no base to compare with. I only planned on using the slip-ons from after the H-box, and was mainly concerned about the pipes actually being the same diameter... and whether or not I'm looking at rejetting. The 500 I have has Kerkers, and they put out the perfect sound...and would love to hear that growl on my 1kf. Are you saying you used the R's H-box, which made you lose the centerstand?

Yeah the tank wont cross to easily wo modification the frames up near the front of the frame vay a lil to much not to kention the seat wont fit very well either with the 1kr tank. The 1kr tank is also a lil longer as well.

The R's collector box is bigger than the F's, no room with center stand. It extends back right into where the stand mounts. The diameters are the same, but the angle of the exit from the collector is way different... more than it looks like. It was all really close, the slip on pipes just miss the F's footpeg brackets on the way up and back.
