    Here are the paint codes for the 85 VF1000R and lots of others that have steel painted frames, Shasta white, Candy Aleutian Blue and Fighting Red:

    Red:

    These will match a 1986 vf500f too (according to colorite). I would use them as a paint supplier but their prices are crazy!

    Yea, I gave up on colorite a while back 1) prices were way too high and 2) the Tri-coat Candy Aleutian Blue they sell (Silver base and candy blue 2nd coat) wasn't even close. My painter did so many spray-out cards trying to match my bike that we ran out of paint. It was way too green.

    The Ford Sonic Blue Pearl is VERY CLOSE

    I agree. I stumbled upon it and gave it a "shot" on a VF1000F modified fender. In the sun it's pretty much perfect. Harsh shop lights, barely off. This was before final sand and clear.

    Quick spray out with clear for a sanity check before doing the fender.
