vf1000f parts on vf750f

    Hey every 1, I have recently bought a good running vf750f I also have a vf1000f in parts in my shed and was wondering if i could use anything off the 1000 that might be better then what the 750 has? (wheels, forks, carbys) i have a complete 1000 but im using the motor in another project.

    the 1000 is now in bits and ive already put the gold mufflers on the 750.

    You could swap steering and forks over. The frames are supposed to be the same, basically. Never verified that. You can though. How about it?. Check wheel rim width. I think the front is same and may be 1/2" wider rear.?? Then other misc parts like switches, some electronics etc.

    If I could find a good 1000F motor, I would like to try and install in my 750.
