Hi All, just purchased a VF 700 cruiser 1987, (non runner) still have the 95 VFR, needed something to do in the garage. I'm planning on doing a full restoration. Anyway I managed to get it going, but wasn't very impressed with the note from the stock exhaust. I've included a pic of someone else's ride (The red one, hopefully what mine might look like when completed, mine is the one on trailer) pic shows up-sweeping exhausts, which don't look like they'll allow for slip-ons, also the look of original pipes is what attracted me to the bike originally, so going for a 4 in 1 system or something similar is not really where I want to go. I was wondering if anyone had attempted to modify / alter etc to increase the pussy cat meow to a more aggressive growl. Bike has only done 15,000 miles is stock standard and not butchered in anyway. I've pulled bike down and motor is on the bench, needs new valve stem seals, some carby work, and one set of cams showing some pitting on lobe faces and matching rockers. I'm assuming this was caused by these surfaces being in contact for literally several years with out turning over. The rest of the motor is in exceptionally good nick, crank, con rods, pistons and bores are all good Any feedback or suggestions gratefully accepted Thanks Tumbleweed View attachment 26621 View attachment 26620
