    Hi All,

I have finished up refreshing the forks on my 86 VF500F and have cleaned and freed up the anti dive mechanism so it should work fine. However, I need help regarding the coupling of the plunger external to the fork leg in the anti-dive assembly to the caliper which activates it. On my bike the hole on the plunger activating shaft is about 10.6mm in diameter and the bolt which goes through it from the caliper which is supposed to activate it has a diameter of 5.5mm and thus is not coupled to the piston. I'v closely examined Honda micro-fisches and have not been able to find the bushing. What I need to find out is, is the bushing which is missing from my bike hard rubber or what? It should be easy to fabricate once I know what it is made of but until I have that info, my anti dive can't be made functional. Help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Jay
