A real problem I'm afraid epecially in UK and Ireland. As far as I know there is only one aftermarket complete system for the VF500 on sale in the UK and that's made by a company called Predator. It's a stainless system with a single end can. It looks OK, but I recall reading it didn't do much for horsepower (made it worse). There's a bike on Ebay UK atm with a 4 into 1 system made by Laser, but I think they went bust a while back.
The OEM exhaust whilst heavy and prone to corrosion is hard to beat when it comes to power.
Good luck with your search and post back if you find anything suitable.

They look decent enough. Balance boxes come up on Ebay from time to time. I had good luck buying from the US. Less chance it would be corroded I fugured and this was true. It was in really good condition. I got it sandblasted and painted it and it looks as good as new.

I just wish there was a modern 4 into 1 available for the 500 now. I'm no fan of loud exhausts but the OEM sounds so anaemic, and it's really heavy.
