Finally putting my 85 VF500F back together. Have forgotten where the second vent hose goes. One attaches to the back of the carbs, but for the life of me I can't remember where the other goes. Anyone know? I'm stuck until I get going to the correct spot.

    The hose lengths look odd...

The bottom, smaller hose coming out of the lower part of the breather separator chamber goes down (drain)

The right, larger hose goes to the airbox (carbs as you put it).

The left, larger hose goes to the top of the crankcase near the base of the back, right cylinder. This is a shorter hose, so I don't understand the lengths of your hoses in the picture.

Hose's are the same size/length and just pulled up together in the picture. There is a larger diameter hose that plugs into the front side of the air box. There is a tube in between the back two carbs and I've hooked one of the hoses to that. I'll have to look to see if there is a hose connected to the cranckcase. These tubes were left in the general vicinity as where they were pulled from.
