Valves/Rockers

Hey all,
I am just now getting around to working on my 83 interceptor. I did the new DRP cam chain tensioners, about 2 months ago, and like a dork i didn't check the valves and rockers and make adjustments! I have read the shop manuals, and they make it pretty confusing! Does anyone have a nice straight forward write up on how to adjust the valves on the 83 V45 engine? I still have a bit of a rattle in the motor after the new cam chain tensioners, between 3500-5000 rpm, and strongly believe it is the front valves on the front head. Any other suggestions are more than welcome!!
