So I recently bought this 1985 vf700f and I'm having trouble with finding out what connects to this, or if it vacuum or fuel
Carb vent, connects to nothing. Stays open, pointing down, vented to atmosphere. There is usually a small bracket held by a screw on the diaphragm cap to hold it in place. Notice how there are no marks on that end showing where a clamp would have been for 35+ years? But you might see where it had been in the eyelet bracket before.
