Here's a racingproject which was started 08 and it's still under development, it has been on the track four times this year, and it's working brilliantly: handles like a 600 stings like a 1000 and outbrakes most other bikes

The bodywork is manufactured here in Ge for cbr600r pc37, the fork and shock comes from Öhlin, the brakes comes from Braketech, brembo calipers, carbonreinforced brakelines, mr footrests, PVM 16,5 inch wheels , 200 dunlop rear 130 in front, pipes special made for me, one set only, so is the cans. it feels like 600 and goes like a kilobike, and I 'm not finished with the engine yet, Just been testing it how it behaves on the track. it weights 140 kg and should produce about 150 hp on the crank when I'm finished, which should be next spring!

going with the super charger I see, that seems to be the only way to see 150hp

No supercharger, no turboboost either. Just higher compression, ported head, bigger valves, more radical camshafts, reduced friction, the waterpump is already history, got myself an electric! and ofcourse a bigbore!

nice, I've been trying to locate cams and big bore for my 6th gen, you have a line on anything??
I also would be willing to drop a 5th gen engine in my 6th if I could get it to pump out 150hp, so please keep us informed

With a bigbore 837ccm, higher compression12,3:1 and a powercommander, you will be there remember HRC took 180bhp out of it back in 98-99

an RC45 is not a VFR - sorry man, your HP gains will be around 20-30 based on big bore and higher compression. Final RWHP is going to be around 120

TTS Performance in the UK used to sell drive in/out performance bigbore for the VFR in the 90s (they still sell the kits on their websites) and thats all you get. To get higher you will need new cams (outfit in australia custom grinds, google for that as I cant remember the name of the company) which could get you to maybe 140hp

I think beta is say'n an RFV750 is no way shape or form the same as your RC45.
I also only come up w/ 160bhp for the factory HRC 750.

I am however very interested in what you are doing and what you will use to get the final numbers you are chasing after.
I hope you hit your target.
that would maybe sway me into doing one up to endurance race.
    good luck and keep posting.

I will, with dynosheets and everything, the engine is away for tuning for the moment, I don't really know when it will be back, and it will be strong and fast I promise, I chosed the rc36/2 because it doesn't have VTEC , how to tune a VTEC, well thats a different matter, which I don't want to get in to!

People told me it couldn't be done, well I did it, and it's working better than a lot of new bikes, the bigbore from TTS isn't radical enough! that's why I had it manufactured here in Germany, the bike rev's 11500 in the current state, 13000 is the target, and I'll hit it, be sure!

I just looked it up HRC final HP figures for the RC45 was 183hp at 15000 rpm's , so betarace (überguru) look it up!!!
this is not a bike for the open road, closed track only!

I never disputed a factory HRC RC45 put out that kind of HP. I am skeptical that a standard VFR could do that in any form.

not even close to a street job, but best of luck trying!
