I am making a new gas tank and instead of a 2.2 gallon tank I will have a 3 gallon tank.
First photo is the new tank.

Below is the old 2.2 gal. tank.

Below is a Photoshop sketch of the new tank and prospective paint scheme.

The new tank is a vented tank design like a modern motorcycle.
    Two 1/4 inch petcocks.

This winter I am ALSO going to change the radiator from a Honda V65 1100 radiator vertical tube copper radiator, to a Honda ST1100 aluminum crossflow radiator and it will be behind the front frame down tubes instead of in front of the down tubes.
I might get a 10 inch X 14 inch custom made aluminum radiator if the Honda ST 1100 radiator does not look good.

big fan of the color scheme. undecided on the squared off upper edges. Maybe more photos? The length seems to fill up the frame nicely.

The frame is not a straight tube. ,it has an angle in it. I made the bottom of the tank fit the frame exactly.
It also has an internal baffle to keep the fuel from sloshing on acceleration and stopping.
I will post a photo after painting .
