    Hello,

I'm new to the forum, new to VFR's and new to motorcycles in general so I hope to be able to benefit from the wealth of knowledge that seems to be available here.

    A bit about me:

I'm known as either Matt or Random, live in North Yorkshire in the UK an have been interested in anything with an internal combustion engine since I was about 5. I recently decided to get myself a bike to replace my 1969 Austin Mini as my weekend fun transport. I've been driving trucks for the past decade roughly so have a fair amount of road experience that I hope will help a bit when I get my bike license in the next month or so!

    Cheers

Hi Random! Welcome to the forum. I am a novice myself, with the VFR as my first bike.

    Cheers,

Few people have said I'm crazy going for a 750 straight away but I just say its only as fast as I let it be. Have to open that throttle to get into trouble.

At least that's what I keep telling myself
