So some of you may know, I just recently bought my bike (86 VF 500). In my eyes she's a sexy little thing, with just a little patience she'll be ready to hit the streets. As of now I've ordered more parts then I bought the bike for ha. I've bought already - New Mirrors Seat Chain and Sprockets Kevlar Brake Pads (F+R) Inner Fender + Outer License Plate Fender Side Plastics HID Kit for the front Headlight Rear Cowling Its going to look sexy, I'll have some pictures up soon, after I finish painting it black. What I'm really writing about, sorry, is that not so sexy turn signals. IMHO they stick out way too far and look like they don't belong on the bike, I was thinking about cutting them and rewelding them to make them much shorter, but I decided I want to get rid of the whole bulb/cover setup and move it to the rear by the tailight, does anyone have any information for doing this? I noticed some people used a resistor to keep them flashing at a regular speed instead of hyper fast, which one would be better necessarily? Thanks ahead of time, sorry for the long post, I just want my first bike to leave a good impression.
