Well Tori and I headed up for Thanksgiving at his girls house in Paso De Robles....on the bikes...seanic (pun) tour ofcourse. We left Grover Beach and stopped in Pismo to see a friend. From there we headed towards San Luis Obispo on Price Canyon Rd to 227. We took Biddle Ranch road to Los Osos Valley Rd. From there we got on Turri Rd (nice winding section but was too short so we did it 3 times  ). On this road on the 3rd trip I managed to scape both boots  It was my first time to have the bike that low and I was thrilled!. We stopped in at Morro Bay for a photo op at the Famous Morro Rock.

I think the shot came out pretty nice but I hope Santa aka me, can afford a nicer camera for these kind of trips. From there we took HWY 41 to Atascadero. The way up the freshly paved twisted road left us wanting more so back down we went....On the trip back up we got slowed my cagers but was worth the extra ride! We then stopped my Reg71 house and caught him with his hands on the Turkey almost so we let him be.. We went up (so not sure what name of road) back way to Templeton then hit the 101 for a last blast to Paso Robles to get our grub on. Its was Great! Cheers to Stephanie for a Great Thanksgiving and to Tori for a blast of a ride.....See you all Sunday!

Yea thats what I thought more than likely it was in the 60s so getting cool down there in the moring still I'd take what you have. Nice photo, funny thing I notice is 03 has red tape on the rear wheel while the 97 has it on the front, cute.
Not to hijack this thread anyone know whens the west coast VFR meet? going to be where? I'm not finding a thread on the subject.. still liking an area around Mt. Shasta weekend before Laguna Seca

haha,.... you noticed the wheel tape. Thats kinda by accident. The '97 actually has it on all wheels, and on both sides. (the shadow is coverig it)
My '03 only has it on that one wheel, and on that one side. Mostly by accident and pure lazyness. After ditching the rear fender, rear pegs and grab handles i needed the redline on the wheel to break up the "all black" look of the wheel/tire hangin' out there all by itself. The night i taped it,.... i could only get to that one wheel and that side only. Its pure lazyness that has kept me from doing the rest,...... but its kinda growing on me the way it is.

40 degrees would be nice. It was 30 when I left for work yesterday. It was like having cruise control because my hand was frozen into the claw! It still gets to me how much the weather changes during the day here.

What time did you leave ? There was frost on the ground at the girlfriends house, so maybe it was even colder. You need to move over the hill Reg, the weather here is much more moderate.
